Which possibilities of future life for Man?

Which possibilities of future life for Man?

The first fundamental discovery to be remembered here is that of the DNA - in 1953 by Watson and Crick -, its chemical composition, its presence in the genes and in the chromosomes of each cell, as well as its "programmatic" and "organizational" function of the life of all "species", animal and vegetable, of our planet.

And later, in 1998, the clonation of the ewe Dolly, i.e., of a sheep generated - not by the natural union of the male and female "sexual" cells How the cell DNA is transferred - but by the DNA of the nucleus of a "somatic" mammary cell of a ewe, which was implanted into the cytoplasm of an egg-cell deprived of its sexual nucleus, belonging to another ewe.

The experiment of the ewe Dolly

The scientific experiment of the ewe Dolly, which achieved full success, as well as other similar experiments, have clearly proved that the "complete" DNA contained in the "nucleus" of a "somatic" mammary cell - by itself mortal, as it is part of a mortal organism - if transferred "complete" into the cytoplasm of an "egg"-cell (of another ewe), can originate a new complete organism, exactly as is the case of the ewe Dolly.

In synthesis, it is to be deduced that the complete DNA contained in the nucleus of the somatic mammary cell - which in the limited environment of the original organism is normally mortal - gains the quality of "immortality", if the DNA is given the possibility to "duplicate" continuously in the cells, which is exactly what happens during the growth period, starting from the "egg" cell.

Which perspectives for the future life of Man are opened by the "discoveries" of 1953 and 1998?

Our research for a longer life The importance of biological Economy for the research of the causes of ageing How to combat the phenomenon of ageing

It is evident that the answer may be given by the important human intellectual faculty, which is endowed with the sense of spatial and temporal Infinity, and of Divinity.

From this faculty arises the inexorable scientific and moral duty to complete the work begun by the two aforesaid outstanding discoveries, in order to exploit at maximum, also within the framework of the new discipline of biological Economy, the extraordinary "immortal" quality of our DNA. Until now, this quality has manifested itself with our Species, but not with the individual, which remains mortal. Consequently, the main road for the scientific research of the future has been opened.

It remains but to travel it with sufficient engagement and firm determination. Results, therefore, will also depend on the rhythm of scientific progress which the present generation will be able to reach already. Thus, any person who has an adequate knowledge concerning the above topics, has the moral duty to promote at his best the information about the fundamental problem of human existence, so that Man may be his own master, in other words, master of the natural laws which govern his life, and not their slave anymore, as unfortunately he still is today, mainly because of his scientific ignorance. To give a valid contribution to the combate against this condition, is the desire of Dr. Santarelli's book: "Alla conquista del Tempo dopo la conquista dello Spazio" ("Setting out for the conquest of Time, after the conquest of Space") - (Ed. AIRPTI, price € 12,-, the book is sent on request).

In conclusion, the well-informed individual may achieve a healthy and always longer life. Moreover, as scientific progress is unarrestable, and the human intellect is endowed with the sense of temporal Infinity, the conditions exist that the final object of scientific research might contemplate a

life period, not only longer, but also unlimitated, entrusted to the responsible behavior of the individual.
